DILLONVALE — The Dillonvale Presbyterian Church, located at 52 Liberty St., Dillonvale, will be holding its 70th-annual Peach Social on Sept. 10.

It will be held in conjunction with the church’s chicken dinner, according to a church spokesperson.

“This will be the first time since 2019 that we are able to have the Peach Social in person due to COVID,” the spokesperson noted, adding, “It will be a little different than our prior Peach Socials as this year we will be making homemade peach cobbler to go along with our chicken dinner that will consist of one-half of a chicken, baked beans, pasta salad, roll and peach cobbler for a $15 donation. Our ‘social’ part is we will get to gather in person and are honored to have Josh Sokolowski play music from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.”

Food pre-orders will be taken through Sept. 3 by calling or texting Lynette at (740) 827 6412 or Nancy by phone at (740) 769-2808 or by text to (740) 317 6826.

“Otherwise, it will be first-come, first-served with eat-in or take-out available from 12:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.,” the spokesperson explained, adding, “Please join us as we gather. Come enjoy the food, fellowship and our musical guest.”
