Crews going to chicken house on fire in northwest Berks

Fire crews from Berks, Lebanon and Schuylkill counties have bee called to chicken houses on fire Saturday at a farm in northwest Bethel Township.

Related ArticlesJune 1, 2022 Fire companies made fast stop on chicken house fire in northwest Berks The initial calls went out shortly after 1:30 p.m. for a chicken farm in the 1500 block of Pine Grove Road north of interstate 78 and a short distance from Schuylkill County.

The first personnel on scene immediately called for a second alarm and numerous fire companies were dispatched to the scene.

By 2:30 p.m. some of the crews were returning to station after firefighters got the upper hand on the flames.
