DALTON GARDENS, Idaho — Idaho Fish and Game received multiple calls about black bear activity in the north Dalton Gardens and south Hayden area over the past few weeks.
The incidents have been occurring in a neighborhood near Canfield Mountain, in the Hayden View Drive and Packsaddle Drive area, just north of Dalton Gardens.
Multiple residents have reported seeing a black bear in the area, and though there have been no attacks, the bear has been getting into household trash and backyard chicken coops.
Residents are advised of the bear activity and encouraged to take the following precautions:
