State police have identified the man killed in Friday’s Adams County chicken coop collapse as a 53-year-old Harrisburg resident.

He, and seven others, were injured when a chicken house collapsed Friday morning on an Adams County farm, Pennsylvania State Police said.

The chicken house collapsed at around 7:30 a.m. at 370 Spicer Road in Gettysburg, Trooper Megan Frazer said. Firefighters from departments in six counties responded to the scene.
